Artist Bio

Kareema is a bellydancer based in California. She started dance in her youth, where she trained in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop while also discovering her affinity for the stage. At 18, she was introduced to bellydance, and fell in love with the rhythms of the tabla and Arabic music. At 22 she began performing in restaurants and lounges regularly and found her niche; inspiring her audience to smile and feel joy. In 2017, she was crowned "Rising Star" in the Alla Kushnir Queen of Rhythm Competition held in San Francisco.

Today, you can find Kareema dancing regularly in local venues around Sacramento and the Bay Area. She is currently a resident dancer at Yiannis Greek Restaurant, Kasbah Lounge, & The Palace Hookah Lounge.
